For the first time ever, analytica 2012 will feature completely equipped laboratories
with daily live demonstrations.

From sample preparation and measuring to evaluating the results: Visitors will be given a compact look at the latest
processes and techniques.

These special shows are our way of inviting you to exchange information with manufacturers in person, have new products explained during actual operation and discuss individual applications in practice.

The equipped laboratories consist of a laboratory bench built by specialized laboratory-equipment companies where a select group of leading international manufacturers have their equipment and consumable materials on display.

There will also be exhibition areas in the immediate vicinity of the laboratory benches where other exhibitors can present their equipment, allowing you to experience their products in actual operation and in real laboratory surroundings.

In addition, Mark Benecke, Germany’s best-known criminal biologist, awaits you on the first day of the fair. An expert in the field of forensic entomology, he will give a presentation in the Biotech Forum (Hall A3), demonstrating how the latest DNA analysis techniques can be used to draw conclusions about crimes and/or criminals, among other things.
